MAN Pharma attended PAHA 2023. The 28th Annual Philippine Animal Hospital Association Conference commenced on August 30, 2023, at the Marriot Hotel Manila in Pasay City. With the theme “Innovative Veterinary Learning Towards Global Competitiveness,” the conference aimed to align objectives with the virtues and values of the Filipino veterinarian industry.

Over the course of three days, attendees were treated to enlightening lectures, including a sponsored talk by Dr. Li-Wen (Rita) Chang, the Senior Medical Affairs Manager for IDEXX Taiwan. Her lecture, sponsored by MAN Pharma, delved into breed considerations in RBC evaluation which drew insights from Taiwan’s Hematology Big Data Study. Distinguished figures from the world of animal healthcare diagnostics also delivered compelling lectures to the attendees.

On the morning of September 27, 2022, the PAHA Conference opened its doors to its members from across the country for the first time in years. The Philippine Animal Hospital Association, Inc. (PAHA) held its 27th annual convention on September 27- 29, 2022 with the theme “Resurgence of the Filipino Veterinarians in Companion Animals,” an objective aligned with the organization’s virtues and values toward the local veterinary industry.

This three-day conference was packed with insightful back-to-back lectures from prominent veterinary figures, imparting their knowledge and expertise to the convention delegates. These lectures ranged from global veterinary trends to in-depth discussions on various pet disorders such as canine osteoarthritis and feline chronic gingivostomatitis.

In between lectures, the PAHA delegates had the chance to explore and interact with the different booths set up by the convention sponsors. MAN Pharma’s own exhibit booth quickly caught the attention of attendees with our engaging analyzers displays, fun activities, and exciting giveaways. Through our exhibition, MAN Pharma successfully promoted our roster of vet products from our renowned partner brands (IDEXX, ASAveterinary, and  Mindray,).

‘The Learning Veterinarian: Look Inside Your Veterinary Practice with New Eyes’ was the Philippine Animal Hospital Association’s focus during its 21st Annual Conference on September 29 – October 1 at the Acacia Hotel Manila, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The convention discussed aspects of veterinary healthcare such as hematology, cytology, oncology and dermatology. The practice management of social media was also tackled in the event.

 

MAN Medical Pharma and Diagnostics, Inc. (MAN Pharma), one of MEDTEK’s affiliate companies, is a distributor of medical equipment specializing in diabetes care and molecular diagnostics. The MAN Pharma team participated with a booth featuring veterinary diagnostics. The products that were introduced comprises of the URIT-800 Semi-Automated Chemistry Analyzer, URIT-3000 Vet Plus Hematology Analyzer, Urilyzer 100 Pro Urine Analyzer, and CombiScreen VET 11 Urine Strips. The company aims to support our learning veterinarians in delivering quality animal health services in the country.
