On September 27, 2022, MAN Pharma together with IDEXX Laboratories held the IDEXX Signature Class at Microtel by Wyndham. This dinner lecture had presentations from industry experts, exciting games, and a luxurious meal for our special guests. Fresh from the first day of this year’s PAHA convention, veterinarians across the Philippines headed over to MAN Pharma and IDEXX’s special dining lecture.

The event started with a lecture from Professional Services Veterinarian, Mr. Atid Suthamnatpong. He gave a comprehensive look at the applications of SDMA for the diagnosis and staging of chronic kidney disease, giving listeners much-needed insight into their practice. This lecture was followed by an in-depth talk on optimizing IDEXX’s ProCyte One and hematology through the Making Best Use of the 5-part Differentials discussion given by Professional Services Veterinarian Ms. Pimsiri Piromkij.

Attendees got to ask their questions through a real-time question and answer segment after each lecture and they also enjoyed a delicious dinner by Millie’s All-Day Dining. Before the event ended, the MAN Pharma team lead a fun and interactive activity for the guests, testing their newly learned knowledge from tonight’s lecture series.

On July 27, 2022, MAN Pharma together with Mindray Animal Care launched the VetiX P8 to the Philippine market. The online product launch had presentations from experts in the field as well as fun games with amazing prizes. Veterinarians from across the country have waited in anticipation for the unveiling of MAN Pharma’s newest veterinary digital radiography system.

The online event started with a special in-depth lecture from a world-renowned Doctor in Veterinary Medicine Dr. Eason Yeh. He talked about abdominal ultrasound for dogs and cats, giving listeners much-needed insight on the importance of ultrasound to the Filipino vet practice. This informative presentation followed the long-awaited VetiX P8 Product presentation given by Ms. Mabel Liu, Mindray’s Asia sales manager, giving the audience a comprehensive look at the impressive features and benefits of the product.

Attendees also got in on the fun and asked their questions and inquiries during the real-time question and answer segment. They also got to test their newly acquired knowledge through a simple pop quiz game about the presentations and three lucky winners got to go home with exciting prizes.

Before the event ended, MAN Pharma offered exclusive introductory prices for all event attendees, in celebration of the launch of VetiX P8 in the market.

For this year’s lunch and learn series, the MAN Pharma visited renowned vet clinics nationwide to discuss biochemistry diagnostics. The six lecture series were each conducted by our dedicated veterinary diagnostic consultants and were held from March 19 to March 30 at host clinics across major Philippine cities.

The lunch and learn series is constructed to initiate important conversations between MAN Pharma and our partner clients. Down to the Essentials

With so many chemistry tests available through our menu of CLIPs and slides, it can be intimidating to choose which tests to conduct for our furry patients. To help guide our clients, we decided to clarify what each test is for and which ones should be prioritized for certain cases. To better present this, we focused on the different organs that the tests can be vital for. For chemistry tests, the functional status of organs such as the kidneys, the liver, and the pancreas are essential.

Veterinarians from various regions of Visayas headed towards the L’Fisher Chalet’s rooftop last June 28 for the IDEXX lecture on vector-borne diseases. A sumptuous buffet dinner was firstly setup to welcome the guests. To officially commence the event, the night’s speaker was introduced to her audience. From then on, Dr. Rachael Kilroy, with her 15 years of veterinary practice and her experience in the IDEXX Training and Education team, gladly spoke about her expertise to fellow veterinarians.

The discourse afterwards revolved around the most common vector-borne diseases in the Philippines. These consequently included heartworm, ehrlichia, anaplasma, babesia, and Lyme disease. The discussion allowed the Singapore-based speaker and Filipino vets to compare their encounters with VBDs. This provided everyone with new insights on the problems and innovations experienced by Southeast Asian vets.

Dr. Rachael Kilroy featured the numerous technological advancements that the SNAP tests employ to ensure fast and precise results. The question and answer section that followed was spirited and collaborative. The vets consulted Dr. Kilroy for advice on topics such as administering medication and frequency of SNAP test use. The lecturer answered them as best as she could, using both her knowledge and experience in response. With all questions sufficiently answered, the group took a commemorative group photo. The lecture attendees then made their way home, each with a deeper understanding of the value of vector-borne disease diagnostics.
